Although the hospital was initially intended to serve the immediate local community, it has grown to become a key healthcare provider for a large segment of the Ilorin population, with patients traveling from far and wide for treatment. The hospital is locally known as Aromaradu Hospital, a name derived from its initial proximity to Gaa Aromaradu.
Our history
Abanise Lolu Hospital is a private healthcare facility established in 1986. Originally located in a residential building near Government High School, opposite Gaa Aromaradu, it later moved to its current permanent location, just after Socrates College. The hospital initially began as a general medical practice but gradually expanded to offer specialized care.
Over the years, Abanise Lolu Hospital has developed expertise in a range of specialties, including paediatrics, neonatal care, obstetrics and gynaecology, as well as paediatric cardiology. The hospital is renowned for its highly skilled team in obstetrics, gynaecology, and paediatric care, with the capacity to handle both routine and complex medical cases.
